I would also like to add , that if you don't have the Gimp, that is okay. Everything I showed you in the video is really the basics for any program. You would most likely have a file button, and layers tend to work the same in every program. It's really all about getting to know the program you are working with. If you would like to use The Gimp , I will add a link to there download site, it is a free download!! Happy Scrapping!!

Scrapbooking Fun with The Gimp
Hi guys!! It's me again, Scrapbooking Fun. I recently had a request to do a hub on the basics of opening and working with layers. So, I sat back and scratched my head for a while trying to figure out the best way to write about this. I have been working with the Gimp for many years now, and I didn't learn one thing by reading a tutorial. I need visual, simple, stimulation to learn. Not discounting the many hours of just experimenting with it. So I came up with the idea of making a video about it. First, before I could even start, I had to learn how to take a simple screenshot which of course I had no idea how to do. Sooooo, my first stop was You Tube. After I picked that up...lol, which wasn't hard, all ya gotta do is hit the button on your keyboard that says Print Screen, but that is a completely different Hub. there was no stopping me. So I hope you can learn in an easy and enjoyable way with the video that I call" Scrapbooking Fun with "The Gimp" .
